The St. Balasar Univeristy English Club was created by two real-life critique partners who wanted to bring actionable, encouraging writing advice to the genre of online book critique shows. On the podcast, we take books everyone has already agreed are terrible–think “Empress Theresa,” “Trigger Warning,” and Onision’s “Reaper’s Creek”–and pitch revision strategies. On our YouTube channel, we examine our personal experiences in the writing life, the craft of poetry, and Sonic fanfiction.
